When You Feel As If All Is Lost…
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight.”

What do you do when you feel like no one is listening and you’re all alone? I am sure many of us may be feeling that way with everything going on in the world today. My only answer for you, turn to God. Open your big book and read His Word, His Truth. Through the Holy Spirit He has breathed life into this old book. You are literally reading the breath and word of God written through the Holy Spirit when you turn those pages. It will be life changing if you allow it, believe it, trust it. I promise you that. Some days are harder than others, today is a really hard day for me. I turn the pages and pray the Holy Spirit guides me to the right words I need at this moment to find comfort in my Prince of Peace. He has never failed me, we are His children and He will never leave our side. No matter how hard life gets, no matter how dark the sky looks, when you can’t see a light at the end of this deep dark tunnel, He is standing right there with His hand outstretched waiting for you to take it. Never forget that.
“Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s temple and that the Spirit of God lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and that is what you are.” -1 Corinthians 3:16-17
“He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.” -2 Corinthians 1:4-5
“Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff – they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord as long as I live.” – Psalms 23:4-6
